Bibliometric analysis of corporate governance: Past, present, and future research agenda

During the 1990s and 2000s, importance of strong corporate governance (CG) was acknowledged more widely due to occurrence major failures. As a result, there greater focus on responsibility, transparency, disclosure practices, risk management enhance accountability. Moreover, following 2008 financial crisis, CG has become an increasingly important topic in fields business economics recent years, particularly. The current study seeks address this gap by providing retrospective analysis emergence economics. bibliometric methodology used research involving four steps: defining aims scope study; selecting appropriate techniques for analysis; collecting data; running presenting findings.
